| | Really enjoyed my first lesson on chord structures, have got the hang of the basics and now want to learn more!, my tutor taught me well and came up with some good ideas of ways to memorise my learning. |
| | Excellent work today Freddy - Am very impressed with how you managed to play all the way through Maggie from memory - good skills! |
| | Hi Freddy that sounds good man - I really like your voice all in tune, piano sounds sick man, keep up the good work and doin your thing By Simon on Week 12 mixing and mastering 60s track on 08/12/10 |
| | Great organ playing on 'The House Of The Rising Sun'Freddy and the sound you created is very 'Animal-esque'. It's great to see you have been learning alot and still having fun. The Motorhead gig looked awesome! Looking forward to hearing 'Maggie May' when that is finished. I'm not sure it would be wise to attempt Rod Stewart's style of vocals though or you may end up with a sore throat! Just make it your own! Just a tiny teachery comment. Remember capital letters after full stops! Take care, Vicky. |
| | I think that was 'Sick' (great) I think your think your very talented - keep doing what your doing (Zane P) |
| | Really good Freddy, really impressed, loved listening to it, great work. Jo Harris. By Freddy on Week 5-recording the vocals on 17/11/10 |
| | Great stuff yesterday Freddy.! You've come a very long way since I last see you at the studio.! It was great to see you again, and to see your enthusiasm continue to grow.. You really nailed the piece yesterday, and I have every faith that you will do extremely well when you come to record "House of the rising sun" live with Simon(When he's finished touring the globe that is). I look forward to seeing you again soon, keep up the fantastic keyboard skills. :D By Justin Carter on week 7 on 21/10/10 |
| | good choice of song mate, everything takes practise but one day it will all just click together, you've definetly come a long way from the guy we used to know in stoke who everyone thought there was no hope for etc and your proving them wrong which is really good to see after all these years! anyway goood luck with it all buddy By Tim Hackford on week 7 on 20/10/10 |
| | Hi Freddy, I've listened to your 'Hound Dog' track and thought it was excellent. It sounded really authentically '50s and I was amazed by your vocals. I'm so pleased that your project is going well and you seem to be thoroughly enjoying it. Can't wait to hear the next track! By Vicky on 1st week on 13/10/10 |
| | Fantastic Freddy - really good work! |
| | Hi Freddy Simon played me the track with the vocals on it the other evening. I was amazed! I didn't realize that you were going to do the singing too and Si says you weren't always a singer. It sounds brilliant, well done! Belinda |
| | HI Freddy, I had lots of fun learning how to play Hound Dog in the studio today it's a really fun Rock'n'Roll piece to play. Before Our next session in the studio I'd like you to write about the session today and what you learnt from it. I'd also like you to find some information about recording technics in the 50's. What's really important is that having read about recording you blog about what you've learnt and how it effects what and how we record our peice. What limitations will it impose? Post links to the information you find or pictures. Look forward to next week. Oh and practice the piece and remember your memory stick! Regards Simon |

Week 26 Future Plans
Hi there to all who wants to know where Im going from here after my Noise solution project well if you don't know I am trying to get into Suffolk new collage and I've done my interview which went really well and the qualification which I am hoping to take is a media BTEC level 2 diploma ill put the hyperlink to the page in below in this it will teach me more about the arts which im interested in and to hope, one day id like to teach the subject to youngsters or people who are willing to get into media and music the course will cover various different subjects such as photography, Radio broadcastment which im involved in at the moment, TV advertisement and much more.
It's a one year course and if I chose to do the next level whether I can stay in that is is up to me or the collage to decide. At the moment Lapwing who are my learning contractors who have helped me get the qualifications I need for collage have asked for me to teach another student who wants to carry on the Radio show I set up originally at Ipswich Community Radio for lapwing named: Lapwing Radio it did go out live at one point and will hopefully carry on when I teach this new student how to become a top presenter of ICR: I will leave the link to the web page below.
Radio presenting is an art in media and has always been a passion of mine due to the fact that I don't stop talking and talking is a talent in this world for which Radio Broadcasting thrives on. This for me was my first entry into the public arts as I appeared as a special guest on a pre-recorded radio show the name of the show is forgotten to me now since its been sometime since I got into it but from there I was very keen and pushed my out and about volunteer into becoming a radio DJ so I could soon one day become a presenter my self which I have successfully done and as you can see I started a radio show up for my contractors and Im planning on teaching the art someday to young eccentric presenters like my self who can keep the revolution of Radio broadcastment going.
My first step will be to sign on up as a radio volunteer for ICR and from there id love to help and teach the art to those who wish to learn it. If push comes to shove id sign up with CSV and do it that way if possible (I will add CSV's link as well.)

week 25 Project Review, Risk assessment and other stuff
hello there for all those who wish to read my latest update on whats been going on at my noise solution as you all know or haven't known ive been on holiday and im now back fully refreshed ready for music and my project for that matter. today we recorded vocally my overall report on how i think the project has gone which went well if you wish to hear click the play button below.
we also took a look at the risk assessment for the studio i work in for my next part of the project the leadership task where i shall be tutoring my mother. me and my mentor went over all the risks and i fully acknowledged all risks and hazards including fire exits and health and safety.
Here is our assessment
we also looked at the weeks that i have to teach in and talked about that in this we talked about the structure of the sessions.
I also had ago with one of my tutors inventions being able to mix and play with sound via a wii remote i think its an awesome idea because a wii remote uses bluethooth in order to connect to certain things including a computer once connected it converts its transmissions to midi and then after with musical computerised sounds involved the worlds your oyster you can tell the remote to read and play different sounds to how you hold the remote including the numchuck which i think is a good idea because it enables people who struggle to create or play music to have the chance to have ago at making music

Week 24
hello there to all that like music to the very ends of the earth its me again at noise pollution and today me and my tutor Simon planned the second part of my arts award the leadership sessions. which will be commencing in may i am hoping to teach my mother so what a fun ride thay'll be. I'm looking forward to teaching and I'm hoping that everything that I' have taught will be good knowledge to keep forever.
Here is a discussion I had just after making my plan - answering the questions in My Silver booklet about the plan
Here is my plan - it may change
Today i also had the exclusive opportunity to use a device that my favorite modern 80s syth pop artist little boots uses in her performances called a tanori-on a magical device that enables people who cant play certain instruments or atall to engage in music through creativetivey and art.
The tanori-on uses led lighted buttons that you can press in order of a 16 beat tempo on different octives its an amazing device to use and its very universal to other forms music data such as midi.
